RemoteWeigh transforms an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into a powerful wireless remote control and weight display for Cardinal Scale and Detecto® weight indicators. Designed to provide convenient access to weighing functions from anywhere within the network, RemoteWeigh allows operators to monitor scale activity, control indicator functions, and manage weighing transactions directly from a mobile device.
The application provides real-time weight display updates and supports simultaneous connections to as many as eight compatible weight indicators. This capability makes RemoteWeigh ideal for facilities operating multiple scales, allowing users to monitor several weighing points from a single mobile device. On iPad devices, up to four indicators can be viewed simultaneously, providing a comprehensive overview of scale activity across an operation.
RemoteWeigh offers remote access to many of the functions typically performed directly at the indicator, including zero, tare, gross/net selection, ID entry, and unit changes. The application also serves as a remote control for the 825 Spectrum indicator and supports Cardinal Scale’s prompting protocol, making it particularly useful in truck scale, process weighing, inventory control, and industrial weighing applications.
Weight transaction data can be easily shared or documented through built-in mobile communication features. Users can print weight tickets to AirPrint® compatible printers or transmit tickets via e-mail, iMessage®, or SMS text messaging directly from their mobile device. This flexibility helps streamline reporting and recordkeeping while improving access to weighing information in the field.
Compatible with a variety of Cardinal Scale weighing systems—including ScaleNET®, 190 Series indicators with network options, 200 Series indicators with network options, 201 indicators, and 825 indicators—RemoteWeigh provides a convenient and mobile solution for managing scale operations without being tied to a fixed workstation.
