Pathway is a mobile app that brings truck scale operations directly to smartphones, allowing users to manage weighing tasks remotely. The app mirrors key indicator functions, including ID entry and ticket generation, while supporting unattended weighing operations. Pathway is a mobile truck scale application that brings the functionality of a traditional scale indicator directly to a smartphone or tablet, allowing drivers and operators to complete weighing transactions without leaving their vehicles. Designed to work with Cardinal Scale’s NTEP-certified 825 Spectrum indicator, Pathway improves both efficiency and safety by enabling unattended weighing operations through a convenient mobile interface.

Using a standard Wi-Fi network or Cardinal Scale’s optional S2WIFI wireless communication module, Pathway connects mobile devices directly to the truck scale system and provides access to weight data, transaction management, and ID entry functions. Drivers can complete weighing transactions from inside their cab, reducing traffic congestion around the scale house while minimizing exposure to weather and vehicle movement in busy weighing environments.

Pathway supports the same truck scale ID storage and transaction functions typically performed at the indicator, including entry of up to four customizable self-prompting IDs. The application also maintains virtually unlimited transaction and identifier records, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle weighing operations, including aggregate facilities, recycling centers, agricultural operations, waste management sites, and industrial shipping and receiving applications.

Once a weighing transaction is completed, detailed tickets can be e-mailed directly from the mobile device or printed through compatible network-connected systems. Ticket information includes gross, tare, and net weights along with time stamps, ticket numbers, and customizable identification fields, providing accurate and organized transaction documentation.

Available for both Android® and Apple® devices, Pathway offers a cost-effective solution for implementing unattended truck scale operations without the expense of additional scale house personnel or dedicated kiosk systems.
